New Training Opportunities for Banking Professionals from Lime Systems

The effectiveness of banking processes supported by Lime Systems software solutions depends significantly on the expertise of the specialists working with these systems. For this reason, the company regularly provides professional training for bank employees.

In late 2016 and January 2017, training sessions were held for specialists from Ukrgasbank, MEGABANK, and Bank Novyi, Ukrainian banks using Lime Systems solutions.

Banking professionals participated in the General Course on Template and System Configuration, which focused on lending products, including loans, credit lines, overdrafts, and guarantees. The course was designed primarily for IT and back-office specialists responsible for configuring the bank’s product portfolio within the core banking system, automating accruals and bulk operations, and calculating credit risk and provisions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

A separate Products and Packages training course was held for banking operations and back-office specialists. In addition to covering the concept and functionality of the Products application suite, the course provided detailed practical training in module configuration — from creating a banking product in the core banking system and defining its sales conditions to using the configured product range within contract management processes.

Participants also explored the configuration of the Product Packages application, as well as the specifics and advantages of arranging banking products as bundled offerings.

The participation of specialists from several banks added a dynamic element to the training, encouraging professional discussion and an active exchange of experience among participants.
