A-Bank Implements IFRS Reporting Solution Based on Scrooge Analytics
Lime Systems has completed the implementation of the IFRS Reporting module within the Scrooge Analytics platform for A-Bank, providing the bank with a flexible environment for preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The solution supports the preparation of IFRS reports based on the IFRS Taxonomy and is designed to accommodate the bank’s accounting policies while maintaining transparency throughout the reporting process.
Built as a configurable reporting framework, the module enables banks to define calculation logic for IFRS reporting indicators without changing the underlying application architecture. It also provides detailed intermediate calculation outputs, allowing reporting teams to validate results at every stage of the reporting workflow.
Calculated IFRS taxonomy indicators can be exported to the bank’s preferred XBRL conversion environment for regulatory submission.
The reporting process is based on source data from the Scrooge core banking platform. To provide a broader data foundation for financial reporting, the implementation also included integration with the bank’s risk management systems as well as fixed and intangible asset accounting solutions.
All calculation rules and reporting logic were configured in accordance with A-Bank’s approved accounting methodology.
The flexibility of the IFRS Reporting module enables banks to adapt efficiently to evolving regulatory requirements, updates to the IFRS Taxonomy, and changes to internal accounting methodologies without redesigning the reporting process.
For financial institutions operating in highly regulated environments, this approach helps maintain consistency across reporting cycles while supporting long-term compliance with IFRS and XBRL reporting requirements.
