Preparing Banks for the Transition to ISO 20022
On 21 July 2021, Lime Systems hosted a technical webinar for partner banks focused on the implementation of Ukraine’s next-generation payment infrastructure based on the ISO 20022 standard.
The event brought together more than 100 banking professionals, with representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine joining the discussion to address questions related to the upcoming transition.
During the webinar, Lime Systems presented MPHub, a new integration module designed to support interaction with the National Bank of Ukraine’s central payment infrastructure. The session also introduced the module’s architecture, outlined the changes planned for the Scrooge core banking platform in preparation for ISO 20022, and shared the company’s implementation roadmap for supporting the next generation of electronic payments.
The discussion provided banks with an opportunity to better understand both the technical and operational aspects of the migration while enabling direct dialogue between financial institutions, the regulator, and the Lime Systems engineering team.
As financial market infrastructures continue to adopt ISO 20022 worldwide, early preparation and close collaboration between banks, technology providers, and regulators play an important role in ensuring a smooth transition to modern payment standards.
