NovaPay Expands Financial Services with the Scrooge Platform by Lime Systems

Lime Systems has implemented the Scrooge platform for NovaPay, enabling the company to offer payment services based on customer accounts and payment cards.
The solution extends NovaPay’s financial infrastructure and supports the company’s expansion of payment and account-based services within Ukraine’s evolving regulatory framework for non-bank financial institutions.
The platform is built around the Scrooge core banking system and includes card and lending back-office capabilities, the iTiny digital banking solution, and the CTS financial authorization system.
Integrated into NovaPay’s existing technology landscape, the platform supports a wide range of financial operations, including current account servicing, debit and credit card management, and IBAN-based payments.
The implementation also supports NovaPay’s regulatory requirements, including participation in the National Bank of Ukraine’s electronic payment ecosystem through a partner bank and the provision of digital banking services through iTiny.
The project follows NovaPay’s expansion of licensed financial services after receiving an extended license from the National Bank of Ukraine in 2023. The license allows the company to open customer accounts, issue payment cards through its mobile application, provide acquiring services, and support business payment transactions.
The combination of the platform’s capabilities and the expertise of both teams made it possible to deliver this ambitious project and create a foundation for future financial products and services. We value the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the non-bank financial sector and to support organizations that are expanding access to modern financial services.
