Lime Systems Participates in Tieto Cards Day 2016: Europe

Participation in Tieto Cards Day 2016: Europe reflects Lime Systems’ engagement with international payment technology trends and long-term partner ecosystems. The content highlights topics that matter to banks and card businesses, including tokenization, cloud-based payments, MDES, VTS, mobile-first service models and the evolution of customer experience across digital and self-service payment channels.

In the final days of spring 2016, Lime Systems participated in Tieto Cards Day 2016: Europe, a partner conference organized by Tieto on the Baltic coast for financial institutions, partners, and technology providers.

The conference focused on emerging trends in the payment card industry, showcasing successful international projects and discussing new business opportunities driven by evolving payment technologies.

As part of its strategy for supporting modern payment services, Tieto presented a number of new initiatives based on mobile payments and cloud technologies. Participants were introduced to the latest developments within the Card Suite product family, including cloud-based payment solutions, tokenization, support for MDES and VTS, and the business benefits these technologies offered to financial institutions.

Another important topic was the growing role of mobile devices in the payments ecosystem. While traditional service channels continued to play an important role, mobile technologies were becoming an increasingly important point of interaction between financial institutions and their customers. Tieto presented its approach to integrating mobile services and ATM channels into a unified customer experience.

The event brought together representatives of financial institutions from Latvia, Georgia, Ukraine, Austria, the United States, and several other countries, providing an opportunity to exchange practical experience and discuss the future development of payment technologies.

Lime Systems and Tieto had already been cooperating on joint projects for several years, and the conference provided another opportunity to strengthen the partnership and exchange expertise with the broader European financial technology community.
