Banks with Foreign Capital Choose Ukrainian Scrooge

Commercial banks with foreign investment operating in Ukraine face specific challenges in preparing and maintaining statistical reporting for the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), particularly as regulatory requirements continue to change. Cooperation with a local software provider is therefore important for system integration, configuration, consulting support, and the implementation of reporting rules in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

One of the banks to receive an updated NBU reporting solution from Lime Systems is ProCredit Bank.

As part of the project, the bank migrated from Scrooge 2 to Scrooge 3, which was integrated with the ProCredit Group’s CustomWare.Net system. The result was an automated solution for preparing statistical reports required by the National Bank of Ukraine.

Lime Systems carried out a comprehensive data analysis and developed a dedicated conversion mechanism for transferring data from CustomWare.Net to Scrooge 3. The system receives daily updates on accounts, transactions, customers, and documents.

Scrooge 3 generates the complete set of reporting files required by the NBU, eliminating the need for manual data entry and fully automating the reporting preparation process.

In addition to enabling the bank to meet national regulatory requirements and fully automate the reporting process, the project has significantly reduced potential operational risks associated with manual data entry into the reporting system.
